Good morning, Tina:
In regard to your reporting on the Freeholder meeting last evening, I have information regarding your comments on Senate Bill 1861.
The bill did not die in May, but in fact is alive.
According to legislators, it has an opportunity to be enacted upon before the session ends at the end of
December. Certainly the passage of this bill will save local boards of education a great deal of money by combining candidate board
Elections with the November general election.
